CYLINDER PACKING

NC WAYNE,I hope you or anyone else on here can tell me where in our area is best to find the seals for my backhoe boom cylinder, as it leaks down so fast now that I got to fix it. It is on my old Multi-Hoe,by Pettibone. Looks like a 3"dia. rod. I am thinking somewhere in Charlotte , but I hope you can steer me to the right place,any advice is appreciated ! The best place to get packing in Charlotte is Custom Hydraulics and Design. They are located on Statesville Rd/Ave right off I85, and right across the street from the Pilot station. About the only way your going to get any of the seals is to go ahead and tear the cylinder down so they can match up the pieces. If your lucky they might have what you need in stock as they do keep a pretty good varitey of stuff onhand. If it's something they don't have they can usually order what you need and have it in within a few days. Below is a link to their web site. Hope this helps and good luck.
