Re: D4 7U winch models? in reply to Old Magnet, 07-25-2013 18:31:23
I have been cruising around allied winches' website & have downloaded several manuals. They just didn't go into detail as to wether or not they would fit the older machines. What was common knowledge, has now been forgotten on 40+ year old equipment. One last question: if a dozer has a hand clutch, with power shift the winch will be compatible with the older models correct? Please forgive me, my D4 7U is the first sizeable dozer I've owned, and am not familiar with all the newer models. Thanks again old magnet.
