That brake band bolts together It can be removed through the cover and relined. For 10 years I ran a 1957 17A 10 hours per day with a rake blade stacking & burinig timber. A fellow with a D7E powershift felled the timber with a cutter blade. We cleared hundreds of acres in the bottomlands for rice growers.
