I can buy a JSW excavator from the late '70's. Are there any sources of NEW proprietery parts? any story on these machines? This one is in Florida. Was the design used by other companies that would have parts interchange?

I was in Japan about the time they came around. I think the name of the company was Japan Steel Works. A few were brought over but never caught on. Parts would probably be some common final drives and pumps over there but do not know about avl over here. I would want to buy it fairly cheap.
