I was operating my Allis Chalmers HD-4 the other
day and suddenly my right steering clutch lever
went limp. No warning or anything and it felt
like a linkage pin had fallen out. Can't find
anything wrong externally so I guess I will have
to remove the hydraulic tank and dig deeper.
If I find I need to replace some linkage or other
hard parts who would have these? I already have
on-hand new clutch discs, brake band, pressure
plate, and throw-out bearing. Crawler Heaven used
to provide used parts but I am not sure that
business is in operation any more.
