checking transmission level

Hi I need some help. I have 2 loaders (Fiat/allis 545B and MF 44B)I do not have any manuals for them, but was wondering where to check their transmission fluids and what type of oil to use. Thanks for any help.

Not sure about the 44 but the 33 had a level check on the transmission housing, you got to go under the machine, there were two valves like what could be found to drain the air tanks on a truck, one above the other the top one was the correct level and the bottom the minimum,to check the oil, secure the machine on level ground, stick the bucket in the ground, brakes on gear in neutral, engine on low idle,go under, open the top valve, the oil should flow out,if not take out one of the fill plugs and add oil till it does, the oil used to be type A automatic transmission fluid,I think any HyTrans fluid will do nowerdays.
