Then operating the loader, the hydraulic valve tend to stick and has to be nudged back into the neutral position. Both the valves do this and it is frustrating as well as dangerous. Is this a common problem and is there a fix?

Don't know about a Case but my Cat track loader has adjustable lift kick out and bucket positioning. I really like the bucket leveler but it never worked on my current machine. The lift kick out did and it was a PIA so I just unplugged the wire. Basically the hyd. valve locks in position and kicks out at the set height or bucket position. It was sometimes hard to move the lever just enough to lift without it locking into position and lifting higher than you wanted.

Think the best you are going to do is shoot a bunch of blaster on the linkage and see if it helps. Otherwise you may have to change the detent spring in the valve.
