Case backhoe attachment

I am now in the process of buying a small excavator and will no longer have a need for the full-sized Case backhoe attachment as fitting to the Allis Chalmers HD-4 loader that I now use. The backhoe is a Case 530CK "Extend a Hoe" model, but it is manual in that regard. You extend the hoe by pulling a big pin and then extend the boom by pulling it out using the bucket dragged on the ground. Not as nice as the later versions which have an additional hydraulic cylinder to do this, but it works. It does have fitments so you can add a hydraulic cylinder to do this more easily if you want.

I have rebuilt the swing cylinders, the boom cylinder, and have upgraded most of the hoses with high quality Parker units. I also had the 24” bucket professionally rebuilt and it now has readily available and easily replaced bucket teeth mounted on new and modern tooth shanks. Hydraulic snap couple's attach it quickly to main hydraulics on your machine. Don’t try fitting this on your Kubota :) This is one massive hunk of iron and it is impressive to operate.

This is a nice old-school unit ready to dig. It is heavy, it is powerful, and it really can dig.

What do you think it is worth? I am in Everett, WA.

Well a couple years ago I gave $1400 for a 580CK with the Model 33 Hoe on it. Turned out it is a '67 580CK 188 diesel, manual clutch and I am not going to sell it for that. LOL

Well, a backhoe like that would probably go for
closer to $7,000 out here if it were in good
condition. The Pacific NW is not the place to find
good deals on equipment.

I was thinking of asking $3,500 for my hoe
attachment and see if I got any bites.

The standard backhoe for the 530CK was a 32,as I take it you are offering the backhoe only for sale not the whole machine.
