307 Cat fuel problems

I have a 307 Cat excavator with some fuel problems. It will start and run for twenty minutes or so, then it seems to run out of fuel. I've replaced fuel filter, same thing. So I drained all the fuel out and took apart the line out of the tank, alittle dirty, but not plugged. Is there another screen or something that I'm missing? Or do you think I have something else going on? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Look for any banjo fittings that might have a screen inside of them and one more thing if there is a return line take it off and blow it out right back to and inside of the tank.
If a return line is plugged and the pump picks up air it will always need bleeding, return line is a constant bleed line.

I tried one banjo and didn't find anything, but I'll look again tomorrow. It startsback up after sitting for awhile, without bleeding. Where in Ontario are you from I'm near Morristown NY, just on the American side of the St. Lawerence. Thanks alot

I did a job for a customer awhile back thathad an excavator that was doing basically the same thing. In his case we checked every filter, even the one in the banjo fitting as the line went into the injection pump. Ultimately all that was left was to change the fuel line, which we did. The old line was one of those that was clear with a visible brade in it. Once we had it out we did everything we could think of to find a hole in it, something blocking it, or anything at all wrong with it, but found absolutely nothing. To this day we have found absolutely nothing wrong anywhere in the fuel system, but putting a new line on solved the problem.

Don't know about a 307, but I had a D4H give fits, found a screen at the transfer pump --after checking other things umpteen times.
