JD 555 hydraulic hoses

Anyone here ever changed the bucket hoses on a Deere
555? Just how do you get to the valve end of the
hoses???

They're no fun.. Between regular wrenches and my trusty Mac Tool double angle wrenches, they're do-able.. I mark lines and fittings with colored phone wires.. i.e. green with black tracer to fitting and same to the hose.. Keeps them straight and hooked up right.. You might have to remove lines AND fittings in order to get to the leaker tucked away behind the others..

I was wondering if you remove the access panel next to the operator's knees and remove the clamps on the steel lines would they be loose enough to lower and reach the hoses. Could even remove the next hoses down to make more space.
