TD9B track loader

I've been looking for a cheap track loader for a while.I only need one a few times a year for a few hours at a time but nothing else does the job right. Years ago i had one of these and the operators wouldn't let the machines idle before shutting down. There went another head. Is there a better engine that adapts or can I change this engine to gas? it has a 282 diesel. I hate to pass up a new undercarriage for junk price.

Been around the td9 that changed to the ih 150 latter and they are just not worth the effort.
Find you at least a little 125c loader or the 175 if you want to stay with the ih. ANY track loader is now cheap. The td 9 wold have to be a scrap price for me to mess with it.. One thing you can do is buy it and just accept that it is going to put and sputter when you crank it and hope that when it warms up it will run decent. Lost of them will once warmed up. I have stopped leaked many and got by for awhile.

if its Does not have the POWER SHIFT SCRAP it.The Gear Drive With 282 Diesels Have the same trans as the 4 Cylinders ,and ARE TRUBLE I Know Had ours go OUT 3 times,The Last time We pulled the motor And SCRAPED the Rest.I Bought a 150 Power Shift use till the Final went bad, now Wait's the be Scraped to =more Truble then we want to get in to.The Power Shift one's are good !
