I'm a bit stuck / Roosa Master DB FI pump question

First, thank you jdemaris - and all of the rest of you who have shown me the way to overhaul this unit. I finally took the time to get into it.
the Manual helped much! The Manual doesn't address all of the differences associated with the DB & JDB pumps, but I'm getting there.

Manual Page 10-5-1 States that the pump is of CLOCKWISE rotation, [i:72463aaf8a]as viewed from the drive end of the pump.[/i:72463aaf8a] The pump I am working on is CC rotation. I am working with the flyweights down and away from me. I have installed the new solid cage w/o the flex plate (upgrade), the original was disintegrated!

I then stacked the rollers in their respective shoes, placed the cam ring over the rollers with the directional arrow facing up and to me, in the clockwise position, (I believe this is how I removed it), Thus when viewed from the drive end of the pump, it is pointing to rotate CC. Manual figure 10-10-45, shows this opposite. Making the pump rotation Clockwise.??

When I get to the TRANSFER PUMP LINER, I am getting confused and stuck. I don't remember which side of the liner faces away from the drive end, weight cage) of the pump.
Manual page, 10-10-18, shows the liner and the different marks. (Remember I am re-assembling this with the weight cage is at the bottom of the stack of the hyd head.

I think the manual is setting this pump to rotate Clockwise....

Q) which way am I to set the directional arrow for the correct rotation for the cam ring and transfer pump liner?

Thanks, Steve

Steve, I can't help you with the pump, but a
little trick that I use any time I'm going to
tackle something that I've never done before, is
to get out my Digital Camera and take pictures of
everything as I'm dismantling it, even close-ups
of intricate mechanisms, that way you can make
certain that everything goes back together the
same way that it came apart. It also helps when
you are trying to locate parts, you can show the
Parts Man exactly what you want. Also, posting
pictures on a forum like this one would help us to
understand your problem so that we could better
help you - there is a lot of VERY knowledgeable
people on here.

thank you DR Walt.

I tried posting pics here years ago. seems I had to have them on a website for that to happen, maybe on "tractor photos", here on this site.

As far as digital photos... My camera was right there, I did take lots of pics, but not of the Transfer Pump Liner.

My plan was to ask the question/s.
[i:7695662e63]Q) which way am I to set the directional arrow for the correct rotation for the cam ring.
and,
Q2) transfer pump liner? [/i:7695662e63]

If i didn't get an answer, then to work on getting pictures on this site.
Thank you for the advice.
Merry Christmas, steve

Thank you J, Schwiebert, I hope you and yours are having a Merry Christmas.... People here are still asleep.

You asked for a complete pump #. ..DB435AJ2837, on my CASE 450.

I am interested in what you come up with. The Service manual is viewable online. You should be able to see it here.

Thank you, and I hope you and all people can enjoy the Reason for the Season, everyday...

UHT-OOH! the site is not allowing this post, must be something I said?

seems I had to remove the Http:/www off of the link above..

You sure you are not missing a few letters? The model of the pump tells you the rotaion. Include a phone number when you reply

No, all of the letters are there. i looked for the directional in the # also.
This pump is designed be used in either direction. You have the ability to do this by 'flipping' over several components inside the unit. For my application it turns CC as viewed from the drive side.

I don't use the telephone, as I am almost deaf.

thanks, snc
