Just remove the tandem pump then remove the bell housing adaptor plate and then the drive coupler. Can’t remember but it would be a good idea to support the front of the engine from the bottom with a little bottle jack. Unbolt flywheel and heat ring gear up then take punch and hammer hit it off. Heat up new ring gear and tap it onto the flywheel. When you remove the tandem pump cap the hydraulic lines or drain the hydraulic oil. Do you have a later built 5625 or earlier built one. Earlier built ones use serial number 8868. Earlier machines use a Perkins 4.154 later machines use 204.25. Anymore questions will have to remove the covers over the control handles first. |
