case 1835b skidsteer

I am looking to buy a case 1835b skidsteer, really nice shape 4 cylinder diesel 1600 hours, the person wants 8500 dollars. Whats your opionion on these machines? any information will be appreciated. Thanks Rick

They are great when everythings working but wheel bearings are something you want to keep on hand. Dealers make sure to carry many wheel bearing kits but it seems like any other part is never in stock and always takes 3 days to get not including weekends.

I have never ran an 1835,but ran the 1840. Much prefer these older case skids compared to the new ones.

Richard Nothing wrong with that unit, now that being said the skidsteer wheel market is weak. That is a premium price for that unit. If it has new tires and works nice that is full retail. Auction is more in the 6/7 thousand range on a unit that age and size.
