Got a 1941 VO that needs full orchard fenders. Any ideas on where to look?

i think VAO tin should fit it. the fenders are the same from photos that i have so they shouldnt vary much. altough the full body armour for both models is probably scarce, you may have to get custom made parts. if you have any old pieces to use as a reference, it would make the job easier.

good luck

I guess finding an old set is too much too ask for. Thanks for the tip.

yeah its pretty sad.

they didnt build too many V models and i havent seen a VO yet. theres a guy in the tractor photo gallery who couldnt find V sheet metal so he just used the tin off a VA. looks odd but whatever works i guess.

if you ever get your project off the ground let me know. id love to see pics of it. and if you cant, id trade my restored VAC for a rusty old VO any day!

you could always try the tractor wreckers, some of them are hooked up to a cross country directory so they can always track some tin down for you. the other option is "the dealer" but that may either prove expensive or fruitless.

good luck!

I guess the VO's are unusual. Mine's in great running condition--I use it to disc up an acre every year, and also to drag around my other tractors when they refuse to start. I have two VA's--'43 & '47 to restore.
You a Rush fan by chance? They stopped by here in Sacramento a couple months ago--excellent as always.

was never really a big rush fan but i was a huge "tragically hip" and "guess who" fan, (hows that for diverse taste) but i gotta give "props" to rush though, still workin it on the road. just like the stones.
