I found a rather unusual front end weight. I'm wondering if it could be one of those funny shaped front end weight for a SC or DC. Kind of pie shaped with 5554A or 555AA cast on it for a casting # or part #. Any body have one of those laying around that could check a part number for me. Thanks Gerald

Was an option on late model SC and DC tractors equipped with eagle hitch. They helped keep the front end down when operating eagle hitch equipment.

5554A is the front weight for S/SC that fits in the front belly behind the grill. Can't remember if the radiator is in the way to remove/install.

It shows two different styles
because wide front end steering rods need clearance by the weights it?s the same for a SC although they are a different
size.
If you have
weights with the ?notch? it will work with both a narrow and wide front ends, but....if you don?t they will only work on a narrow row crop tractor

I didn?t get a chance to go out to the farm today but those look like row crop weights. You might be able to trade someone for a different set.
Either way those weights are valuable and scarce as hens teeth, hold on to them!
