Loren,i am showing my ignorance here,JTA plow a white? Tag says it's a 308?I have little info on it,boight from an auction last year,was in super shape,set outside but showed no wear,figured it was worth the money.

A 308 is a White/Oliver built plow. Excellent plow and we sold a lot of them. I guess
my eyes weren't that good after all. There was something that didn't look just right
to me, but around here with the advent of auto reset (hyd. and spring) plows, I never
even gave a 308 with trip beams a thought. The last trip beams we sold were JTAs, made
by Case. We went directly to the 3300 and then 8300 models built by Cases until the
308 and larger 4-500 spring reset White/Oliver plows were available.

Ok,that makes alot of sense,i have been searching for plows like my grandfather and father had,they were case plows,i make a mockery of alot of fields when young with them,just sayin,they were well used in the early 70's.would rather have a set of 5-16's of those,too bad I have no clue model.i only remember they would plug easy in picked ground, and had a shear bolt I think in the shank,but that might not be correct.the only thing I can say certain,is the smell and sound,will never be topped.

I had a ford oliver built 4 x 18 semi mounted
plow it looked like a case also.it ate trash well
n pulled nice.
Like long straight deep furrows with soil laying
level.your plow is doing great too
