Case RC engine

Has anyone had a Case RC engine apart? Can the mains and rods be shimmed? Are there rebuild parts available for these Waukesha engines?

I have an RC case but couldn't tell you. The early Farmall f12 used the same engine as the RC Case.I have an operator manual put away some where for my RC Case and see if I can dig it out and see if it has any info.

I have been told the Waukashaw was a very popular engine and parts for the basic engine are readily available, do not know if Case used any special manifolds or not, call a engine rebuilder they will be glad to help.

Otto Gas Engine Works carries rings, rod bearings, valves, valve guides, plus a few other things. I think the Waukesha engine in the Farmall is a different model engine. The Case
has the Model FC engine

It depends on which engine you have. There was a model FK used as well as an FC. I have scribbled in my notes that one of them used insert bearings and the other was babbit, but I don't know which was which for sure. BT

My RC must be an oddball then. It has an FK-40in it. I know a gentleman with an early F12 with the Waukesha and his has some differences like a filter where my RC does not.
