sometimes if I am backing up fast the transmission/rearend makes a loud clack clack clacking noise. I am not sure what it is. (maybe it's the brakes grabbing and releasing?) I have had the cover off the transmission and the reverse idler gear seems very sloppy on it's shaft. is it possible to take that gear out from the cover without splitting the tractor? I was thinking I could bore it out and machine a brass busing to press into it to tighten it up.
