Videos of New Muffler on 300RN.

That muffler would scrape on my loader arms, if they didn't simply knock it off. You have the same gauge cluster I do, sure looks better than the stock cluster. What did you do for the tach? Didn't get a good enough look to tell. Love the Mickey Mouse headlights!

I used a tachometer for a Massey Ferguson. It runs the same direction as the 300's tachometer drive. Ben can probably tell you more about it.

Kevin,

The tachometer looks good. That's the route I thought I'd have to go until Ben put me on to the Massey tach. Everything in my 530 cluster worked until the indicator needle on the tach broke last winter. I can live without the tachometer on that tractor since I don't use it for PTO work.

uh? Your mower isn't PTO powered? Tach is just a luxury for me, but it's something I think a piece of machinery ought to have.

Larry and Kevin those gauge clusters are great. I dont have my gauge lights hooked up right now but intend to at some point. They will probably never get used but why not. The tractors with the tach drive off
the bell housing can use the Massey gauge however the ones with the tach off of the alternator or generator have to go a different tach route. I usually put my rpms between 1000 and 1500 for mowing with the
finish mower.

Kevin,

The mower is PTO powered. I don't use the 530 on the mower because of the loader.

Ah, I see the light! You don't have to work that hard to confuse me, it just comes natural.

Connor, I have most hooked up but haven't even tested them. The oil gauge doesn't have a light anyway. But it looks better than the original cluster did when new, and is much more serviceable. Don't know what Case was thinking about putting that cluster on a tractor where it's bound to get rained on. My old one has a rust ring inside the glass about 2/3 up, but the gauges still hooked up still worked.

Kinda hard to read though. I'm thinking the cluster was originally designed for an automobile, where it'd be indoors.
