Brought home this suspected DC3?
Been sitting 10 years in a shed. Engine is free. Just drained close to 5 gallons of oil out of the engine. Should take close to 6 quarts right?
Can anyone confirm what model it is?

Thank you.

Make sure you drain the oil out of the clutch housing.

Engine uses 7 quarts of oil and 1 more for the filter for a total of 8 quarts.

Ribbed clamshell fenders indicate 1950 or newer. Serial number is on engine block flange where it bolts up to transmission. Opposite side of starter. If it is a 1950 or newer it should have had a heart shaped front casting for the DC-4. Unless veey early 1950. I suspect either fenders were changed or wide front was added. Either way nice tractor with good power.
