looking at DC-4 at least I am sure it is big 30 inch tires. did they come with fenders? it is not seized complete except the generator. tires have good tread but checked between the lugs. he is wanting $500 for it is this reasonable? tin is all there and quite good.

Scrap bringing 140$ a ton, DC-4 probably 2 ton. 500$ sounds reasonable to me. gobble

my DC has 38 on back ... my LA has 30 ... just wondering if you got the size right

A DC 4 would have had 38s on the rear, on bar axles. If it has 30s and fixed rear wheels it will be a straight D.
Price doesn't sound too bad for either, but paint, parts, and tires will put you in the red side of black ink when done.

Both of my model D tractors have 26" rear rubber.

About 20 some yrs ago I saw 2 DC 4 s in a salvage yard that mite of came up from the " delta ".They had the correct front end under it for a late model DC 4. PLUS, the rear wheels / tires were fat 30" ones. If I rember rite.
Tom G. was with me and it was a new one to him. Every thing looked to be ' factory '.
Tom looked that DC 4 over for more than a hour before he bought it and took it back to Ind.
Never did talk with him to find out more about it. clint

haven't been back for a second look don't think it will go far any time soon. meanwhile cant get spark to plugs on my own dc. point spark but seem kind of week.
