Case 230 Bailer Twine Dog

Twine dog on the left side isn't holding the twine. It was working fine until one ball of twine and the new ball started, now it only ties one out of every three bales because the twine comes out. Cut that twine off and started a new ball and the same thing. Is there a way to adjust this out, can I switch to plastic twine, or is there a good source of sisal twine in the mid Atlantic region I should seek out. Suggestions?

not 100% sure what part you mean,, I never use junk sisal twine as it does not last here,, have ran plastic in my Case bales for 40 years are you sure you do not have a chunk of twine in the twine disc? there are adjustments on almost every item on them,, if its the twine disc you are talking it takes a 3/8" wrench tighten it a 1/4 turn on that side see if it helps,, I only do one adjustment at a time so I know what works and what makes it worse lol
