I will be changing my ignition switch on my 1490 because every once in a
great while she just won't turn over, they are cheap and it seems a pretty
good place to start. It seems the only thing holding the switch in place is
the outside nut on the dash panel. Looks like a bear to get to those
connections behind the dash, six spade connectors from what I can see. Is it
just easier to remove the hood for access?
