HCP Stamped On Case LA Bellhousing

I have an LA Case that I was powerwashing. On the bell housing by the starter "HCP" is stamped in large letters. Does that mean "High Compression Pistons?"

I believe it is more common to see the HCP on the earlier models with the low compression head (4447) to raise compression. Later, the use of higher compression heads with smaller combustion chambers affected the compression. The gas head, (5844) high altitude head (5845) and LP head (6386?) may not accommodate these pistons due to interference with the shrouding in the chambers.

I have seen LOTS of them out here in Wyoming and Montana a Very common option out here to be spec'ed with them, but we also have a very high concentration of them here as they sold by the trail car loads
