For some reason I cannot reply to your most recent post, so I will start a new 1, but listen up!! YES, It will ruin the pump. Don't do it. If you have drained & let sit, leave all 3 plugs out & pour some diesel in the fill in the back, & simply let it run through & that will flush out anything laying in the bottom, which is where any leftover particles & water will be.

I wouldnt do that, seems too risky to me. If you drained it and let it drip for 2 days I would just fill it with case hytran fluid. That fluid has additives that deal with water. It's a little more money, but compared to the added cost of the deisel and the risk of pump damage, it's worth the money. Then just take the tractor out and work it for a day, that will cook out any remaining water. If you use cheap hydraulic fluid in the rear and don't use the tractor much, you will just get milky oil again from condensation anyway.

Copy that loud and clear! Thank you very much for the advice. Don't want to ruin anything. I thought there was only one drain plug under there, you say three, maybe I missed the other ones? Could you chime in on that and I will get to work on draining it. Thank you all!

Nick: The Case-O-Matic drain plug will be a 4th plug under that housing which is completely separate from the Tranny-Diff housing with the 3 plugs.

Thanks so much john. Looked under the case and found the plugs. Will drain and let sit and pour some diesel in the fill and let it run out. I appreciate your advice and to the rest. Thanks men! Nick
