Brother has a 51 that has the housing for the three point but not installed. I had the build card but no mention of the rear casting. If I remember I'll try to get a picture. It has brake pedals on both sides and the cross shaft hole is plugged. I figure it was more common than you think. Also was told almost all eagle hitch D's went to Canada.

I have seen many 51's with the casting for the Eagle Hitch rockshaft and quite a few '51 SC/DC's with eagle hitch ,but none have had live pto and hydraulics.

It's hard to follow that. The serial # 5510xxx would seem to indicate there were 10,000 plus tractors built before this one in 51 model year, yet it says it was built in January. That makes for a very busy November and December. Also, only the later 51 models even had the eagle hitch casting. Case ... always keeping us guessing.
