does anyone know where I could find a motor
for a 42 case d. or if I can't get one is
there anyone needing parts if I decide to
part it out.

A shame to part it out. I bought a complete engine on e bay 2-3 years ago for $250.00? What's wrong with yours. How about rebuilding. Dick

the last owner blew a couple of holes in the block. lower end but still would need a new block and maybe a crank as well

Where are you located? I have a 49 DC parts tractor that appears to have a good block. I'm in central Iowa.
