More progress on my Electric 150 GT

Well, the little 150 is coming along well. I finished up the front wheel fenders. Made them from the original rear fenders, plus some drops from the front and rear roof bulkheads.
I was going to remove the hydraulic control from the steering column and mount it on the console that will be built between the seats, BUT I scuttled that design in-lue of building RH and LH foot controls. I think the foot controls will be much easier to use.
I have been thinking about paint scheme, and thinking it will resemble a Golden Demonstrator, only reversed. Frame and chassis, painted black, sheet metal, roof and wheels Desert Sunset, and Power Red, with some graphics on the side of the hood, 60s styling.
The wifey has picked up some black vinyl seat material, and padding, to make cushions and back rests from. She is already talking about how she is going to use it around the yard and garden. I have a Case Hi-Haul trailer for it.

PS I sat in my pondering chair yesterday afternoon and got to thinking that the steering wheel could be a little handier to reach with the new seating. I have several steering shafts from 20-2290 steering columns with U joints in them. Maybe tilting steering wheel ???? The gears are turning.

Loren, it looks like the "pondering chair" has been working well. I like your thoughts, has the Mrs. brought out some coffee to see your plan.
My Mother did that for my Dad, and my Mrs. will bring me a "barley" if its later in the day

Hi there! Sorry to bother you but I just joined the forum today. I created a thread explaining my situation and someone suggested I reach out to you.

Here's the situation:

My brother recently bought a shipping container and inside were parts to a 1959 case crawler 310c.

We are looking to find a buyer. The parts are all in great condition and the previous owner seems to have cared for them very well.

Any advice you could give to get these items into the hands of someone that is in need of these items would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

I like the way getting started on an uncharted project develops as you see what you've got, ponder it, and proceed as what's done reveals more possible ideas.

I know a guy that could be very interested in what you have. I have opened my e-mail addy in the lower right of this post. (see send e-mail icon). This guy can pick it up at your location, if he is interested.

Is that the 150 I saw under the back shed when I visited last time. ?? You had me drooling with that articulating 444 in basement. Hope to make visit in early May this year, need some parts from John and plan on stopping by to see you too. I may need to load something from your place too.
