Take my word that the picture you posted is a CASE built 3300 series hyd. reset plow. See first pic., and then look at the second pic of the White/Oliver built 400 and 500 series plows. The White plows had a 6x8" tubular backbone rather than welded C channels, and they had overhead hydraulic reset compression cylinders on earlier Oliver plows which Case never marketed, rather than under slung pull type cylinders like case used.
See second pic of the White built plows that Case marketed. All spring auto reset, cushion trip, or shear pin beams. The White/Oliver plows don't even resemble the pic that you posted.

loren - yes i believe it is a 3300. was that made by case ? the case-ih 3300 online parts diagram shows NO insert bushings. my plow does not have item 3, 4, 5 or 6 http://messicks.com/cas/56528?sectionId=5560542&diagramId=56528_723674 i assume this was to visually gauge depth of plowshare into ground. i will just have to make a bushing to prevent item 19 - front axle from putting pressure on item 2 - axle housing. thanks for you help. diameter of front axle is 42 cm and is much smaller than white 549.

Thanks Bro for the parts break down.
Jim, the parts that you are referring to are the mechanism that locks the front caster wheel straight when plow is lowered into the furrow. When the plow is raised it disengages the lock so the wheel can pivot on the headlands. If those parts are missing the front wheel will not track straight, and flop around, allowing the width of cut for the first bottom to vary.. The operator has to maintain proper width with the tractor also.

See my comments above under Bro's parts break down for the front furrow wheel. As I said there the parts you refer to lock the caster so it can't pivot when plow is in ground.
