I split my W3 case tractor (530) back last summer due to a differential issue and finally got around to replacing a broken synchronizer ring for my manual shuttle that I noticed upon splitting tractor. The shuttle always worked for me, yet ar times was difficult to shift. According to the service manual there is supposed to be a needle bearing in the gear that comes in from front of shuttle gear box. The needle bearing case is there yet no needle bearings anywhere to be found. It turns out the one gear G16623 is readily available so does anyone know if this is a common issue for mechanical shuttles? The male end of gear G16623 is rough and no longer usable if I put a new needle bearing in.
