solar farm

Been farming for years rented it out last few years. Been approached/identified as viable by solar company, promises triple the current rent for 25 years. Whats the catch? been readin this forum since the start. I know I can get some good experience/feedback from the group.Thank-you wisdom soldiers. P.S. Essex Tri is my tractor of choice.

I deliver storage containers to those while they build th em. There is a lot of concrete and road building involved. It will certainly never be farm land again.

I would check with the local tax department , and see if the property tax would change . Could be taxed as industrial , and that would be a huge jump from farm rates in most areas.

Landowners in my area have started getting contacted and neighbors are up in arms zoning hereing coming up in April I hate to see it use up good farm land but it sounds like its the wave to come.
