About have the DC4 finished. Got both fenders primered. All I have left to prep and paint is the hood, battery cover and fenders. Finished the fenders today and primered them and also have the head lights and tail light painted. All the wiring is finished except to connect the light wires. Started painting the black stripes on the grill. I had the starter button on the wrong side so I moved it to the right side before the Case police gave me a ticket. I have a video, just have to figure out how to load it. Dick

She's almost parade ready! You should be mighty proud of that late model DC when you get her all done. Don
 
On the sheet metal, do you have any pitting and if so, how do you smooth it out, or do you just leave it? Sometimes the sheet metal I get is heavily pitted, the paint having been long gone.
 
Sheet metal was good. Original paint, very little rust. On rusty sheet metal I sand blast and sand and then I brush on some rust eliminator. Then I primer it . Some primers will tend to fill the pits. Dick
 
Looking good. I am jealous of your fenders. I wish mine looked that good, I just can't seem to find a set that will suit me that I can even put the patch panels in.
