Purchased the step off eBay. A friend made the brackets. Just need to paint the brackets when we get warm weather.

Those look great, and I'm glad I'm not the only relic in the world that puts chains on in the winter....... Helps get the wife out of the ditch

When the grounds frozen and the snow is heavy you need chains, can?t do much with bare lugs. I had the blower and chains off then we got about 9? of snow recently. Tried moving it without chains but wouldn?t do it, put chains on, what a difference.

I wanted a simple design that was easy to remove. I can remove the whole assembly by just removing the two 5/8? bolts just below the hydraulic filter access cover. Could install the same kind of step on the opposite side as there are another two 5/8? bolt holes on that side.

I have a early vac in the shop with the operators platform level with the top of the transmission and eagle hitch and have wondered how anyone climbed up on that?

(quoted from post at 08:55:10 03/23/18) there is supposed to be a step on the side of the VAC mounted below the platform. It looks like a half stirrup on a saddle.
Thanks for the info. I have never seen one. I have 4 vac"s, 2 that don't have eagle hitches and a vac-14.
