DC4 Amp Guage hook up question.

Installing new amp guage on DC4, book shows hot wire to amp guage, other side of amp guage goes to light switch. The amp guage has two terminals, 1 marked +L the other marked +B. Does the B foe to battery and L go to light switch? Thanks Dick

That is what the wiring diagram shows for the VAC. The diagram for the DC is too fuzzy to make out but it should be wired the same.

If it's not right, the gauge will simply show a discharge rather than a charge, as it would be reading backwards. Reverse the wires. You can't hurt a thing. Wire coming from the generator would be the + wire

Did you test the Generator to see if it was performing correctly, 12 volts +? CM
