1070 brake ---clutch--- oil pressure-- issue?

I have a 1070 with power brakes. Left brake will lock up the wheel no troubles, but when right pedal is pushed the wheel will not lock up. Now here's the trouble. When right pedal is pushed, it is like there is a loss of oil pressure to the clutch. The tractor engages power and disengauges power to the rear wheels like I was pushing the clutch peddle in and out. No visible outside oil leaks. But what could have "inner" oil leaks? Hytran oil, daily feeding tractor, it's been a year since I did a rps34 rebuild because the clutch hub bolts broke. Just noticed the brake issue yesterday. Any ideas??

See if symptoms are same in 3rd powershift as C1 clutch is not in use. Also should have constant 65# at lube port on RPS valve cover, bet it drops to 0# when steering cramped or brake pedal depressed. Flow check 8GPM/steering pump.

Bet you are correct, sure sounds like a weak steering section in the hyd pump. Because there is something wrong with the RH brake he has to push the pedal firm enough to force the pump to try to reach relief valve pressure. Because the pump is weak all flow stops before reaching that pressure and therefore shuts off lube pressure to the powershift causing the tractor to quit moving. And like you mentioned the same will occur if dead heading the steering. Rod.

Should mention that tpms were at a low idle when it happened. I will check it out at higher rpm also. I have a brand new pump sitting on a "donor" tractor. With 3 of these 1070's in running condition on this farm, I will guaranty one of the other tractors may need the pump worse. Thanks for the ideas and checks.

I agree on the 8 gpm pump, another way of checking that is to see if it drops drive when you cramp the steering, try that, I'm betting that the lube pressure is dropping and allowing the reverse lockout spool to disengage which also has lands on it to direct oil flows
