1070 Demonstrator

Have a local guy says he's going to part out a 1070 Demonstrator. How collectable are they?

When I hauled fuel in southern Iowa there were several around. We had a good Case dealer in Indianola Iowa at the time.

Yes, the are collectible. 1070s would have been one of the most common demonstrators but if tractor is straight then it should be preserved vs scrapped in my opinion. Post in on Craigslist or eBay or Facebook and see what it does.

Thanks for the replies, power shift trany is giving trouble $3500. Too much? not a bad looking tractor.

Power shifts can be expensive to repair. Interesting side note, there should be a tag, I believe in the cab, that says what dealership the tractor was a demonstrator for.

Yes 1070BK, the tag should be down close to the floor as you open the door, brass.
