I was looking at my 700 Operators Manual and it says to put "10w MS" in the transmission.
I thought that sounded a little lite so I checked and a 400 calls for 90w and to thin it with kerosene for cold weather.
We don't get that cold in Oklahoma very often and when we do I won't be driving around without a cab.
Why the change? I was under the assumption that they were the same transmission.
A later chart I have from Case says to use Hytran which is 10w-30.
