That wasn't nice Chuck, I have never pulled, but the last thing anyone on a tractor wants to hear is "BAM". hehe gobble

Yes about Bam! Few years back at the Marcus (Ia) fair they had a truck and tractor pull. This was pulling for no money, only trophy. A guy was pulling with the big ford Expedition with the diesel. He was storming down the track when all of a sudden, BAM! What ever flew apart flew apart so bad they could not tow it off. They had to lift it off with a forklift. It looked like a family hauler and not specific for pulling. Gal sitting next to me said, "I wonder if that guy was married. If so he probably isn't anymore."

I like the ones on U TUBE That Sound and run like NASCAR !!! Real Deere Killers .Sure Looks like Fun Fred !!!

Fred,

It's always good to see a CASE do well at a tractor pull. Many years ago there was a hot 1370 at our local fair that hooked up to the eliminator and proceeded to pull the skid plate right off. End of pulling that night. Another year a 1030 pulled in the 16,000 lb class. It had weights upon weights on the rear axles. The outside weights said F.W. Zaloudek, OK cast right in. Zaloudek claimed to be the biggest Case dealer in the US at one time. Hard to believe a dealer had their own weights. Anyway that 1030 got 2nd place and people were amazed. Don

They were made at Taylor Foundry in Texas. http://www.taylorfoundry.com/product.php
Case was out of weights so he ordered the tractors without and found his own.
If you ordered as many as F.W. Did they would put anything on them.

Apparently he ordered a train load of tractors one time without wheels once too.
