Yes Loren I have cabin fever, and tired of politics also, so thought I would dig through some pictures, and wondered if others would post their Case machinery. Here I just got this disk going last summer, and really glad I did. Its a load for the "DC" but it handles it in 1rst.

The Rc looks really good. I have one just like that a 1937 serial number 401082 with dual wheel front end. Where did you get the paint and what was the color code. So is that what they call light gray

I'll add a couple more. The first is a Case 646 I owned for a short time. It didn't suit my needs so I sold it.

This 400 was my snow mover until I sold it, and bought the 530 I have now.

I bought this SC from a guy who had rebuilt the engine, but said it didn't have any compression. Turns out the timing gear wasn't in the correct position. The plows are Case, but I think the disc may be a John Deere?

Darn Tom, I have forgotten what size it is, and my info is at the farm but I will post again and put down the size. Yes I love the disk, and hopefully after being gone for 5 years I'm going to get my beat up old "LA" home and leave it on it. There is just something about lettered tractors, and the equipment back then, also that era, I really love those years. Life was simple and small farms.

Those are anti-theft taters for if you're standing next to an unscrupulous person so they can't stick them in your bag. They are called red unsteelables. They are a very rare type only grown in Mn.

Loren,

I bought the 1175 with no cab or ROPS. It was the first tractor I ever bought, so I really didn't know what I was looking at or for. Its a fun tractor and I have a real soft spot for it. But I want to do some different things on the farm, so this spring I need to sit down and make a tough call on it. If I end up keeping it, I would like to start looking for a cab for it. More than you probably wanted to know.

Jason, Case had literature and posters out that showed the "1175" w/o a ROPS or Cab. They also commented in the poster you could buy one like it (Desert Sunset 1175 probably in 1973) for $11750.00!!!!
