Winter work

Been running excavator and dozer for a guy part time since I retired. I have to keep reminding him that I?m only part time. I need time to work on my tractor projects! Yesterday we started demoing a 150 year old flour mill that burned 2 years ago. Lot of good wood and timbers in there, all with square nails. Salvaging some but rest going to the wood grinder. Dick

It's a shame that more people don't take advantage of lumber from demolished buildings. Especially the older buildings. You will never find lumber like that again, ever.

How well balanced is that kitty 320? The 320 at work is not balanced very good at all. We demoed a case excavator and loved the way it handled and was balanced.

It is a rental, I've been running a Deere. Haven't used the cat enough to notice the balance / tipping. Just loading lumber and stuff. With short tail swing it's going to bea little tippy.
