I haven't posted pics here for you guys lately. The 431T "Wood Pup" is coming along nicely. The 2 post is all fabed , roof system all fabed and fastened down and now needs to be removed so I can do all the final welds and add fishplates in stress areas. The grill guard came out good and the cultivator brackets worked out great to mount my swing out tool frames on.

Mark out a section 10" long in a piece of 2x2" tubing where you want the curve to begin. Make 19 cuts in the 10" section with the chop saw and bend to 90 degrees and mig weld it together.
The pictorial version should be in the archives of Tractor Talk forum where you can access them.

Well the seat isn't as pretty as you may think. It has the typical "Case tilt" to the RH. The rubber springs are good, but the pin holes are wallered out. There was no backrest when I got the tractor, so I formed the backup plate and found a workable cushion at our local Tisco parts store. It will set straight by spring.

I've got that style of seat on my 800 and 900, would like to find one for the 430. Damaged some vertebrae and need a backrest after a while. Might have to check with Don L. see if he has any.
