Curious what a LA lp tank carries in terms of gallons. Also, if you aren't working it, just driving, how long will a tank last?

On the birth plate it has a W C # witch is gallons it holds. Usage depends on hard it is being worked. Will have more power on liquid than vapor.

Have a LP LA here...can check in the morning but it tells the gallons on the tank serial number plate.

Looked at the LA propane tank I have in my shop. Could not find the gallons on it. Will look further later today.

If you are just playing with the tractor, it could last for weeks. I believe the tank holds 42 or so gallons. If you were plowing in descent ground it would run about 4 hours. Hard pulling, even less.

Just putzing around though, a tank would probably last quite some time. Hard to say because you don't know how many hours it would be. Possibly on a tractor drive for instance, it would probably last all day. Bob
