Looking for info on David Brown Case 995

Hello,
I was hoping to get some height info on the case 995. I am looking to buy one that is for sale online. This tractor is 4 hours away from me so I can?t get the exact height measurements myself, and I was hoping someone that owns one could help me out. I have seen online that this tractor could be anywhere to 6-8 foot high, I am guessing people r getting these measurements from the different sized stack that they have on there 995. I have a 7 foot high garage door opening but a 9 foot ceiling. What I?m trying to figure out is if I remove the stack from the tractor would it fit into my garage. I am guessing that the stack is what would cause the tractor to not fit. Also what do u all think of the 995 is it a good tractor? The one I am looking at has a front end loader on it.

Thank you

No I don't own one but I knew others who did and they all said good tractor and without exhaust pipe I could easily look over the top including the cleaner cap and I am under six feet tall. I would not expect to bump my head on your garage door height.

I have a 990. By taking off the exhaust pipe I can fit mine in a 7 foot garage door opening, but you have to really scrunch down to fit your body in under the header.

Owned one for years.Front end loader work,96 inch 3pt snow blower, swathing stone picking and many other things it probably should not have done.A VERY GOOD TRACTOR.Only problem is in winter, condensation will freeze hyd.filter and you loose 3pt hitch.Filter in bottem of trans, very little water will freeze it up.I live in west centeral Saskatchewan Canada so did havesome trouble in cold weather.

Thanks everyone for the info I appreciate it. The guy is asking $3,500 for the tractor, which seems like a fair price when I see them online for sale $4500-$6500. He said everything works great on it and there are no problems with it.

A running 995 w/loader and decent tires for $3500?!!! Thats a good deal! It would be a $5-6K tractor minus the loader in my area.
