Snow Is Over For Now

We ended up with about 9" here in north central NC. Farther east the total went up some. Don't sound like much to a lot of you but it is enough to shut us down for a couple of days. Predicting upper 50s to 60 over the weekend. Lee

On the weather report last night they reported for the Des Moines, Iowa area, it has been over 750 days since we had any snow that measured over 3 inches deep. It has been dam cold, but very little snow.

Our normal lows this time of the year is in the upper 20s. We have had several single digit lows so far this year which is very unusual. Hopefully that is over but we do have 2 more months of winter and we have had some cold March weather before. Lee

Wow! I trucked thru the Carolinas and Tenn. and Ky. from E SD for a lot of years. Glad I'm not doing it now with all your snow. I remember the mess it was when you guys had just a little.
