Hey Rich, my 990 DB has hydraulic power to the remotes, and it will lift the 3pt when you first start it, but then I can't get power to the 3pt or loader (through the factory selector valve). I'm figuring I have some ice someplace in the system, but was wondering if the valves by 3 pt control would be responsible? If it was just the 3 pt I'd think yes, but the loader not working while the remotes do has me stumped. ????????

If you loader gets flow through the 3 way valve, then it has to be a stuck valve or ice in the selectamatic valve.

Is your oil clear or milky?

Just changed it a month ago, but it's somewhat milky already. I figure residual moisture in the lines and sump.

The 3 pt was working good, then I needed to use the loader. No go after that on either 3 pt or loader. Gotta be ice someplace since the pump is obviously working, right? Do you think the valves up by the 3 pt control would affect the loader? I thought they were just for the 3 pt.

Just got in from cleaning the valves up by the 3 pt control. I don't get why, but it seems that was the problem. The little screen in the outboard valve was packed with gunk, nothing new there as I seem to need to clean it once or twice every year. That explains the 3 pt not working, but I'm still not getting why that would affect the loader but not the remotes.

Oh well, live and learn I guess.
