Today I attempted to adjust the PTO detent and had what seemed like really straight forward instructions from Mel and Rod 1370, but when I removed the small line from the valve, there was't a detend adjustment. I have attached a pic can you guys tell me which line the detent should be behind? As you can tell from the oil I removed the top and middle lines with no success.

Karl,

Just looked at the hydraulic valve and piping for the PTO, the bottom small flare fitting that is in the valve that hooks to the pipe that goes to the rear pto fitting carries a special Casr PN whereas the top one is a standard industry PN, the fitting description ends with a reference to the detent. You may want to recheck as it is obvious when you take the pipe off

look at your spool were cable hooks, follow it down,the ball rides on the spool to make detent work,small line 9/16 or 11/16 wrench

Thanks for your help. I adjusted it today and it feels a bit better, but doesn't shut off when the tractor is off and sometimes when i push on
inching pedal it turns off.....any suggestions? Should i just keep tightening it? I often do need to use the inching pedal to slow or stop when
using the PTO...
