Has anyone done a 8.3 cummins repower in a 94 series? I have a 3294 in need of a overhaul and thought it would be interesting to repower with a cdc engine.

You could do it easier with a 5.9 out of a 2296 or 2096. They would have similar components. Or at least find a 2096 and see how the Cummins parts line up. Neighbor had a 2096 with a cummins but haven't seen it in a while. Just my opinion

Interesting but,you need to go outside awhile thinking to much,it could be done,the cummins uses a rubber mount and a frame rail or tub,were the old 504 is the frame,i suppose connecting the eng.and trans. all together would be the big problem,i guess the 7000 series IH was the first to use the 8.3 I don't see much to interchange.
