12 volt bulbs for case 5 3/4 lights?

Hello I was wondering if someone knew the part number for a 12 volt bulb to replace the 6 volt bulbs. This is on a 1948 DC and the bulbs have the ring on the base that fit over the three spring loaded pins in the socket. Or is there a way to go to a sealed beam bulb that will fit the original housing? Thanks for your help, Mike

Steiner has them in 6 and 12 volt.

Yes you can get 12-volt bulbs to replace your 6-volt bulbs. Two years ago I converted my SC and was able to buy replacements. I got them from Madson's Service in Wis. Their part number is "OLS075". They were $9.95 each. Al

I replaced the 12 volt bulb in my AC WD45 with 12 volt LED bulbs and like them better than the standard 12 volt replacement bulbs.
