I was reading a history of Case. It had one very poor quality picture of the model R rear mount cultivator from the 1950's. Does anyone know if Case
made this themselves of if they outsourced it. I ask because I have a Dearborn/Ford that looks the same as far as the fuzzy picture goes. Maybe I
was onto something when I painted it Case colors to pull behind my VAC.

No, they show a straight rear mount. I am guessing they didn't do many and would not be surprised if they bought it from Dearborn/Ford WIll try to
upload a pic of mine.

Thanks for the picture. They are quite a bit alike. The shanks on down look the same. The mounting brackets are different, mostly because of the Eagle hitch mounting. Case maybe made their own, but it looks like they may have outsurced some parts. I guess you would have to count the holes in the two horizontal bars. Mine does not have the coulter wheel, but Dearborn did make a model that had it. Interesting comparison.

Seeing this "SC" and cultivator torn apart reminds me of Captain Binghamton and what he would say on McHale's Navy, "I could just scream"
